The possibility to create wizards is a unique feature in the SimaPro Developer version. They enable those who are unfamiliar with SimaPro or life cycle assessment to model and analyse products through a predefined question and answer tree.

Wizards can save your company valuable time. It can also drastically reduce the chances of introducing errors by limiting the choices available and directing the user at each step of the way.

Data and wizards can be distributed with any SimaPro version, such as the low cost SimaPro Compact. It has less features than the full versions, but is perfect for large scale distribution of wizards and databases.

Requirements for programming wizards

 

The only requirement is that one employee in your company understands the principles of life cycle assessment, the working of SimaPro and does know how to write wizards.

To programme wizards you must hold a SimaPro Developer licence.
